The Arts District Dining

The Saint

The Saint in Dallas is a sleek Italian-inspired steakhouse located on Gaston Avenue, blending bold flavors, elegant design, and upscale comfort. The menu features dry-aged meats, house‑made pasta, and creative appetizers like whipped ricotta and brisket & foie gras ravioli. With a refined “saints and sinners” aesthetic—mixing dark tones and modern art touches—the space includes a full bar, lounge, private dining options, and signature craft cocktails.

Monarch

Perched on the 50th floor of The National, Kessaku stands as a sophisticated sake-dining and cocktail lounge, offering an exquisite array of handcrafted cocktails that redefine indulgence. This intimate haven elevates your evening with a world-class selection of drinks and culinary delights, pushing the boundaries of traditional mixology and fine dining, creating an experience that transcends the ordinary.

Dakota's

Dakota's Steakhouse has been a downtown Dallas dining icon for over 39 years. its unique underground location has a fascinating backstory that lent to its unique history - once occupied by the First Dallas Baptist Church, a clause in the deed prohibited any future owner from selling alcohol on former church grounds. When the owners bought the space, they were determined to have a restaurant anchor their international headquarters. A loophole was discovered - "on the ground" does not include "below ground," so the land was excavated, and the restaurant was born.

Tei An

The stylish Japanese restaurant specializes in freshly made soba noodle dishes, served hot or cold in soups or with dipping sauces. The restaurant is owned by Teiichi Sakurai, well-known as the founder of Teppo (1995) and Tei Tei (1998). Teiichi opened Tei-An in 2008.

Masume

Musume offers contemporary Asian cuisine and fabulous sushi in the heart of downtown Dallas and Ft. Worth. Musume, which translates to "Daughter" in Japanese is from Rock Libations restaurant group. Musume serves lunch Monday through Friday and dinner every night of the week. Musume features the countries largest premium sake program with over 120 selections. The restaurant also possesses the largest Japanese Whisky collection in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Akai

Tucked inside Musume, Akai is a luxury speakeasy where the experience begins before you even enter. Guests step through a hidden entrance behind the kitchen or a red-lit door on Crockett Street. Inside, velvet walls, custom lighting, and dragon-inspired decor set the mood. Bartenders craft Japanese-influenced cocktails using premium sake, yuzu, shiso, and house infusions.
